Shanghai Parkour
Yesterday was the second time meeting with the Shanghai Parkour group. We had 5 people come out. These guys are a great group. They are very motivated, very fun, and very different from every other group I've met... mainly, I believe, because of how secluded they are from the international scene. There's not much organization, but still enough to keep a group connected and together. A few guys are somewhat experienced and a number of them are quite athletic. Very very enthusiastic. Especially about having a foreigner around. Word is also out that there will be a French guy arriving soon. He will be the second foreigner to train with them (haha, I'm the first :P). It will be fun to meet him. One of the Shanghai traceurs is also a great photographer and I'll post up some pictures taken from yesterday's meet sometime soon.
Infrastructure-wise, there's a number of stuff to work with, and a lot more to be explored. They have a few outdoor training facilities to work with, as well as chinese parks and run-down buildings. A lot of potential I think. We had a pretty hilarious time at my first meet last week when we went exploring for new locations. Let's just say it was very cinematic and involved a little tiny dog in a courtyard barking as we entered, and then two huge guard dogs running out from behind a wall. I haven't run that fast in a long time!
That's all I can really think of right now. I'll surely have more stories later about the Parkour scene here.

Thanks for the pics Mr. Qiu! haha
